SDCC Comic Con 2016 Top Superhero Trailers

Hi guys, SDCC Comic Con 2016 has just ended, and what a great event it has been for entertainment and comic book aficionados out there. So, there are many trailer reveals during the event, actually we just saw all the trailers during this work week, that's why we're still doing some catch-ups with watching those trailers, yeah, but as of now here are some of the trailers that we're really excited about.

Most of these trailers are mostly from comic book adaptations like the Walking Dead, DCU (DC Universe), some from the Marvel Universe, and yes, TV shows from Netflix, so check these out:

DC Universe


1. Suicide Squad

Comic Con showed us the final trailer for Suicide Squad, a band of mercenaries and prisoners assembled by Amanda Waller played by actress Viola Davis. The film stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, and other great actors; and yes, the much anticipated return of the Joker played by Thirty Seconds to Mars vocalist Jared Leto.

2. Justice League

Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman - the guy who talks to fishes! -- these are the top superheroes of the DC Universe, and now we're getting to see them fight alongside each other in big screen!

That's right: The Justice League has just been assembled, and they're ready to fight the war against evil in this new trailer that was shown in SDCC.

3. Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot reprises her role as Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman, as a preparation for the assembly of the Justice League. In this trailer, we will see the goddess fight against soldiers (preferably Nazis) in this trailer, and he will be joined by U.S. military intelligence officer Steve Trevor which will be played by Chris Pine.

Walking Dead

4. Season 7 Trailer

We also had a glimpse of the season 7 trailer of the comic book turned TV series zombie apocalyptic dram The Walking Dead.  This time, we will figure out who really did the character-villain Negan killed after the end of season 6. It resulted to a huge cliffhanger which keep fans of the series clueless on who really died on that episode. The big twist in this trailer is the introduction of the Kingdom, Ezekiel, and Shiva the Tiger.

Marvel

5. Dr. Strange Movie 

The Marvel Universe sets to a new era, as a new superhero emerge from the shadows of magic and chakra. Doctor Strange is making his way to the Marvel Universe and the big screen, and he will be played by none other than Benedict Cumberbatch. 

Netflix/Marvel

6. Luke Cage

In association of Marvel and Netflix, comes Luke Cage series: This is the story of the titular character as he saves Hell's Kitchen New York from baddies in the streets. This series is highly connected to the Daredevil and Jessica Jones TV show. it will star Mike Colter as the Bulletproof Black Guy  Luke Cage aka Power Man.

7. Iron Fist

We also have a teaser trailer for Iron Fist, another series of Marvel/Netflix. This unfolds the story of Danny Rand, and his struggles until he become another savior of New York named Iron Fist played by actor Finn Jones.

8. The Defenders

Of course, last but not the least, is the teaser for the much awaited Defenders trailer. This will be a huge crossover event between the heroes of the Marvel/Netflix series -- Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist.
