Booking Lesnar vs Joe vs Goldberg

Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, and Bill Goldberg are 3 of the most ruthless super athletes of the squared circle. Undoubtedly dominant, they had captured multiple titles and had beat the crap of the biggest names in the sport.

But what if these three unstoppable forces meet in the same ring? Recently, there are rumors that Bill Goldberg wants to return to WWE and continue his legacy of smashing superstars along the way, and consequently after Lesnar's brutal win over Randy Orton at Summerslam, and Samoa Joe's NXT title loss to Shinsuke Nakamura, the clock is ticking like a time bomb as these three athletes might encounter at any WWE PPV anytime soon. Today we'll be discussing the way on how to book this match up between these 3 super heavyweights, and of course, we'll track down the factors on why this match could happen.

These 3 monsters had netted almost every championship belts in every promotion that they've been into. Brock Lesnar is the youngest WWE Champion in the WWE, and a former WWE World Heavyweight champion during his Suplex City run, while Goldberg captured the WCW title and has a 173 win streak, and then won the World Heavyweight Championship during his WWE stint. Samoa Joe on the other hand, also has championship reigns in his resume, won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, X Division Championship, NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and the NXT title in his NXT run. Not to mention Joe's 1 year winning streak, adding to his accomplishments.

Recently during his Gamescon tour in Cologne, Germany, Bill Goldberg addressed his fans for the support that they've given him, and that if WWE would give him another shot to be in WWE again he'll take it. Goldberg, as you may know is a playing a part in the WWE 2K17 game. In the conference he told everyone " I should be on the cover, because I killed the man who is in the cover." pointing directly towards Brock Lesnar who he had defeated at Wrestlemania 20 at MSG.

Now, if you remembered in Goldberg's WWE 2K17 commercial, you can see Goldberg staring at the Suplex City road sign, pertaining to a possible match up between him and Lesnar.

Now, fast forward at Summerslam, Brock Lesnar brutally attacked Randy Orton as he dropped barrage of punches to the Viper, resulting to a TKO finish. Then Lesnar proceeded, giving an emphatic F5 to Smackdown Live commissioner Shane Mcmahon.

As you can see, from the looks of it, it seemed like Goldberg might not have a chance against Lesnar, due to Bill's age, and to book them fairly in a match there should be someone who could take bullets that can moderate the damages that Lesnar can inflict. Someone who is in his prime and ready to take the bullet and answer back moves as well balancing the match -- Without a doubt, It should be Samoa Joe.

With Joe's recent loss against Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Takeover. There is a huge possibility that Joe could elevate his status to the main roster soon.

Booking the Match

So okay, for the booking part, let's just say Brock Lesnar returns to Raw months after beating Orton at Summerslam. Paul Heyman, who is acting as Lesnar's mouthpiece states that beating the Viper is the proof that Lesnar can beat the crap out of any living soul, whether it's in a WWE ring or UFC Octagon. then this happened....

Marching starts as Bill Goldberg, the Enigma returns to the WWE ring once again. The two behemoths finally coming face to face again after 12 years. Goldberg responds, saying face to face to Brock, "So you seriously think that I'm next? Just like what I said -- Keep dreaming kid!!"

This angered Lesnar so bad that he immediately tackled Goldberg, which the Enigma dodged, then counters it with a spear. causing a huge pop from the WWE fans.

While in the meantime, Samoa Joe was offered to go to either Smackdown Live or Raw. Joe reinstated that he would only draft himself to either brands if he will immediately debut for a championship title match, which the WWE heads decline. This sends Joe on a warpath as he makes his way to WWE Raw and cause chaos in the roster.

He interferes in matches to get the official's attention. Raw heads Foley and Stephanie, as well as Smackdown Live's Shane and Daniel Bryan meet in the ring to talk about Joe as the situation that's destroying the Lesnar-Goldberg build up.
